I love being a mom.  I really do.  Today I took my 6 1/2 month old son to the Zoo for the very first time.  It was an amazing day.  We saw the Orangutans (his favorite!), bears, lions, monkeys, elephants... you name it.  We took the bus tour which he loved & he even laughed his way through the Sea lion show.  It was a picture perfect day right up until we were walking out of the zoo and I heard a rumbling noise.  Before I could tell my friend that we needed to find a bathroom my precious baby had the biggest blow-out known to man!  We were both covered - it was everywhere...  We ran to the nearest bathroom so I could strip him down and give him a mini bath in the sink.  By the time I was done with him my friend looked at me and just laughed - If I could have fit I would have climbed in the sink as well.  All was well in the end (so to speak), as luckily I had packed a change of clothes for my little man.  He was clean, dry & sound asleep before we got to the car. 

Even with the explosive end to our Zoo excursion I can say with all that I am that I love being a mom.  I really do.
